The first part of the studies is devoted to drawing (theoretical and practical fundamentals, representational, perspective and anatomical drawing, nude drawing, compositional drawing). The study contents are composition, design language, figurative and representational painting, science of colour, painting technique, materials science as well as art theory and art history.

The six-week, intensive study programme provides an understanding of artistic work and helps the students to find their own individual way. The basic studies of drawing and painting are only bookable for the entire duration of six weeks. Good Friday and Easter Monday are regular days of class. On Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday the studios are closed. The spacious, bright studios and professionally equipped workshops are also available outside the opening hours.
