Intensive Study Course "Portfolio" - Study Preparation

You want to apply successfully for a design-related course of study?

The intensive study course "Portfolio" serves as a preparation for a course of study in a design-related field. The European Academy of Fine Arts advises and trains you with the experience of four decades and provides the basis for a successful admission to a university, academy or university of applied sciences.
The success rate is more than 90 percent.

In a competent team we developed a six-week education programme that enables you to construct an individual application portfolio, to work out a term paper in the aspired department and to prepare for an exam professionally. In addition to practical exercises, we advise you on the various creative careers and design courses.

In the first two weeks you will be taught in the basic disciplines of drawing such as figurative and representational drawing. Subsequently, the lecturers help you in developing strategies for your individual portfolio conception. You will be trained particularly intensively in brainstorming and in the development of creative processes. Other forms of artistic techniques can be explored after agreement with the lectures and depending on your study plans, personal qualification or substantive approach. For the study preparation it is appropriate to work interdisciplinary, for example with mixed techniques in drawing, photography, digital image processing, collage and objects made of various materials, woodcut and other high-pressure processes. Regular lectures on the various aspects of contemporary artistic works will deepen your knowledge. The intensive study course "Portfolio" is only bookable for the entire duration of six weeks. The spacious, bright studios and professionally equipped workshops are also available outside the opening hours. At the end of the studies you will receive a certificate of your successful participation.
